Industrial Training serves as a crucial bridge between academic learning and real-world industry experience. During the 24-week placement, students are immersed in relevant work environments, allowing them to apply theoretical knowledge to practical scenarios. This hands-on experience not only enhances technical skills but also fosters problem-solving, adaptability, and professional communication which are key attributes for career readiness.

Throughout the training period, students undergo a structured process that includes orientation, task assignments, mentorship, and progress evaluation. They collaborate on industry-specific projects, shadow professionals, and actively contribute to workplace operations, gaining exposure to real challenges faced in their respective fields.

To ensure a comprehensive learning experience, student’s evaluation is conducted by both the Faculty Supervisor and Industry Supervisor based on various criteria, including:

  • Performance and engagement in assigned tasks
  • Logbook documentation of daily experiences and reflections
  • Technical report detailing key learning outcomes, tasks and project contributions
  • Presentation summarizing insights and skills acquired during the training
