Centre for Telecommunication Research and Innovation (CeTRI)


The Centre for Telecommunication Research and Innovation (CeTRI) operates under the purview of the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research & Innovation) at Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM). CeTRI consists primarily of researchers from UTeM's Faculty of Electronics and Computer Engineering (FTKEK) who specialize in Wireless Communication Systems and Nano Computing Information Engineering. Through its focus on advancing research and innovation in wireless communications technology and nanoscale computing systems, CeTRI aims to establish itself as a premier research group driving new developments in telecommunication engineering to benefit Malaysian society. With its leadership under UTeM and research talent centered in FTKEK, CeTRI is well-positioned to produce impactful contributions furthering the nation's telecommunication capabilities and knowledge base, particularly in the key domains of Wireless Communication Systems and Nano Computing Information Engineering. The research centre strives to conduct high-quality research leading to publications, patents, collaborative projects with industry and government, and other scholarly outputs that can translate its specializations into technological innovations and applications.

Our Journal

Journal of Telecommunication, Electronic and Computer Engineering (JTEC) is a peer-reviewed journal published quarterly in March, June, September, and December by Penerbit Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM). As the official journal of the Faculty of Electronic and Computer Engineering, the journal aims to disseminate the most recent advancements and accomplishments in scientific research. It also provides a platform for scholars and researchers to share their original and in-depth research in the fields of Telecommunication, Electronic and Computer Engineering.
