For the nation to be fully developed, a solid base with a pool of talented computer savy people has to be put in place. The Master programme by Taught Course in Computer Engineering is designed to extend the knowledge and skills gained from the first degree. The curriculum covers advanced knowledge of electronics and computer engineering. Students are taught on advanced digital signal processing, advanced TCP/IP network, computer architecture and advanced electronic design. In the second semester, computer engineering subjects such as embedded design and distributed and high performance computing are included.
The subjects are deliverd on a taught course basis, along with assignments and assessments. A grade of 2.7 is the minimum to pass a subject but an overall of Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of at least 3.0 is required for the award of the Master degree. This includes the successful completion of the Master Project 2 module to be completed during the special semester.
